The Alliance would like to thank Jeff Malehorn, President & CEO, World Business Chicago, for meeting with Alliance Illinois Chairman Mike Mullen and Alliance President & CEO Kelly O’Brien in September to discuss the potential for collaboration. World Business Chicago’s Plan for Economic Growth calls for responsive workforce development, growth in advanced manufacturing, and investment in transportation, logistics, and infrastructure, among other goals. The Alliance shares similar goals for the Tri-State region. We look forward to announcing collaborative efforts in the coming months.
