In September, The Times of Northwest Indiana ran a three-part series suggesting that Northwest Indiana look to Southeast Wisconsin as a model for economic growth. In the series, Times reporter Ketih Benman writes that economic development and business organizations in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, seem more focused on job expansion, more responsive to the needs of developers, and more diverse in membership, resulting in significant expansion of the county economy with direct benefits to local residents.
