The Alliance for Regional Development, in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, hosted the Summit on Regional Competitiveness on September 27, 2013 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Conference Center in downtown Chicago.
The Summit convened premier leaders of business, government, academia to address the core components, efficiencies and points of coordination of the following drivers of economic growth:
- Matching Skills to Jobs
- Transportation and Logistics
- Increasing the Region’s Competitiveness Through Green Growth
This first Summit on Regional Competitiveness also has the distinction of hosting all 3 Tri-State Region Governors as panelists, including future Vice-President, Mike Pence.
