Leigh Morris 160x240Leigh Morris, former chairman of the Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority, recently penned an article in the Northwest Indiana Business Quarterly where he discussed the importance of building regional cooperation, and the work of the Alliance for Regional Development.
 
In it he opened with, “The relationship between Northwest Indiana and the Greater Chicago area has often been described as a love-hate relationship. We love the proximity and the jobs provided for Hoosiers, but the state line has often seemed to be a barrier to collaboration.” He went on to explain our region’s benefits and how the Alliance is working to build on those assets in a cooperative fashion.
