The goal of the Alliance is to help the Tri-State Region compete more effectively in the global marketplace.
The Alliance for Regional Development is a groundbreaking, cross-sector coalition of high-level leaders working to strengthen the economic competitiveness of Chicago’s tri-state region.
Our critically important regional work is guided by an Executive Committee and Management Team representing northeast Illinois, southeast Wisconsin, and northwest Indiana.
Our work is supported by a foundational grant from the U.S. EDA and by the generous sponsorship of key public, private, and institutional stakeholders throughout the region.
The Alliance organized Working Teams of cross-sector leaders from all three states in the areas of Green Growth, Human Capital, Innovation, and Transportation & Logistics.
Save the Date! The 4th Annual Summit for Regional Competitiveness is on November 17th, 2016 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
Our aim is to provide a coordinated response to and a strategic implementation of the recommendations of an international OECD review of Chicago’s tri-state economy.
